Well another International Talk Like Jar Jar Binks Day has come and gone, and while we're a little late in getting this post up, we still wanted to document the 5th annual ITLJJBD for posterity. Over two weeks ago, on August 19th, 2020, people from all over the world took part in a somewhat muted day of speaking Gungan!
Although the celebration wasn't quite as grand as we would have hoped and people had to cancel their ITLJJBD parties due to concerns over COVID-19, many people still participated in the holiday on social media this year. Here are some International Talk Like Jar Jar Binks Day related tweets!

Many years ago I set up Google Alerts for the terms "Jar Jar Binks" and "International Talk Like Jar Jar Binks Day". The one for "Jar Jar Binks" gets sent almost every single day, containing multiple articles mentioning Jar Jar. However the one for "International Talk Like Jar Jar Binks Day" has never produced any results. Until this year!. On the day after ITLJJBD I received an email notification that a radio station's website had listed it being International Talk Like Jar Jar Binks Day as one of the things you need to know for August 19th. So word is definitely getting out there!
