The big news this week is that we found out that Ahmed Best will be making an appearance at Star Wars Celebration Chicago in the Topps autograph area. Celebration Chicago takes place April 11-15.

Ahmed Best confirmed he’ll be there and encouraged people to follow him on YouTube because “I wanna give you stuff and meet you for real.” Not sure what one has to do with the other, but we’ll find out I guess!

Additionally, although not officially announced on the Star Wars Celebration website, that I saw, Ahmed Best confirmed that he’ll also be at the Episode I panel taking place on the Monday of Celebration.

This is great news for everyone who is attending Star Wars Celebration Chicago. Unfortunately I won’t be there, but I hope everyone who gets to meet Mr. Best will let him know how loved and appreciated he is! And if you do get to meet him, why don’t you let him know about International Talk Like Jar Jar Binks Day, and find out what he thinks about the holiday? Maybe call me on FaceTime so I can chat with Ahmed as well? That’s not too much to ask, right?
