There's at least one major Jar Jar Binks fan on the set of the smash Disney+ hit, The Mandalorian. During a recent podcast interview, Bo-Katan's actress, Katee Sackhoff, declared that her favorite Star Wars character (who isn't Bo-Katan) is none other than our favorite Gungan.

While on the D23 Inside Disney Podcast, Sackhoff spent most of the time discussing her experiences filming The Mandalorian and her love of Disney parks. Towards the end of the interview, however, the hosts, Jeffrey R. Epstein and Sheri Henry, asked Sackhoff about her Disney favorites. They asked her what her favorite Disney animated movie was (The Princess and the Frog) favorite Disney song (Dig a Little Deeper), favorite Disney character (Jack Sparrow), and favorite Parks attraction (Indiana Jones), before asking about her favorite non-Bo-Katan Star Wars character. Sackhoff immediately answered: "Jar Jar Binks!"

The hosts seemed surprised, and pleased, with her answer, and asked her to expand on it. Sackhoff explained why she loves Jar Jar: "I just think he's funny, and, like, his like childlike, you know, glee is just really fun to me! And he's just all about like making people's like lives easier, but he just does the opposite! He really just wants to be helpful but he's terrible."

"Yeah, I love him! I think he’s super cute!" she then added.

It's nice to see more and more people sharing their love of Jar Jar. Here's hoping that Sackhoff will get to interact with Jar Jar Binks onscreen sometime soon.
