Shortly after The Phantom Menace came out, a song about Jar Jar Binks was released. In the song, Jar Jar goes into a club and is immediately recognized. Freaking out, he tries to claim that he’s not Jar Jar, but Jar Jar’s cousin. This song is a classic, but not many people know about it. Even more surprising is how talented the team behind Cousin Jar Jar is. The song is by musician Meco (Star Wars and Other Galactic Funk), future double EGOT Bobby Lopez (Frozen, Coco) and his writing partner Jeff Marx (Avenue Q, Book of Mormon) and Gordon Grody (Jem).[…]
