The Week in Jar Jar: May 26th – June 1st, 2019
Welcome to The Week in Jar Jar for May 26th through June 1st, 2019!
This week the big news is that Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland, Anaheim, California opened to the public. Reservations are required for the next month or so and the attraction features a Millennium Falcon ride with another ride set to debut later in the year. You can build lightsabers and have Star Wars themed food and drinks, and just generally experience what it’d be like to visit a planet in the Star Wars galaxy.
While we haven’t heard of too much Gungan or Jar Jar related stuff at Galaxy’s Edge yet, one news article did indicate that there was a gold bust of Jar Jar, or a similar looking Gungan, in Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities.
Ahmed Best got to visit the attraction before it opened to the general public and was pleased with what he saw there.
